I created this website as a space for personal reflections on my work in and beyond academia, bringing together my research, teaching, and other ways of engaging with the world.

My work is driven by a deep interest in the intersections of learning, education, sustainability, and culture. Across both my research and professional experiences in education, I ground my work in close, long-term engagement with communities: listening to their stories, learning from their lived experiences, and deeply engaging with the issues that matter to them. Through community-engaged research and education, I seek to act as a broker, facilitating dialogue and respectful collaboration between local communities and institutions. In sustainability transition and climate adaptation contexts, my research aims to generate actionable insights that support inclusive and democratic approaches to interventions within local communities for justice-oriented transformations.
