I am an educator, a trained learning scientist, and a sustainability practitioner.
As an educator, I have worked in both schools and informal learning settings in China and internationally. I taught as a classroom teacher, designing and delivering inquiry-driven, project-based learning programs. I have also taken on leadership roles as a lead learning designer and a STEM education project manager. Across these roles, I have developed strong skills in partnership building, stakeholder engagement, communication, coordination, facilitation, and collaboration.
As a learning scientist, my research focuses on social and learning dimensions of transformative changes. In educational contexts, I investigated the integration of diverse knowledge and ways of knowing to make sense of sustainability topics and the instructional practices that facilitate this integration.
As a sustainability practitioner, I observe, learn about, and act on sustainable practices in day-to-day life, during travels, and when reading.
